Bride Has Full-size Likeness Of Herself As A Wedding Cake

April 10, 2008

Would you do anything to make your new wife happy? Would you allow the wedding cake to look just like her? Well, judging by the photo, we’re not so sure deep down inside the groom wanted it. The look on his face as he peers out from behind his new wife is just priceless. We just can’t stop staring at it here at dumpyourwifenow.com. “The cake actually fulfilled …[emember_protected]my childhood dream,” said Ogbuta, who said she had long thought it would be fun to have a doll made in her likeness. While her fantasy never happened, she said the cake was pretty close. We do wonder if she saved the head to put in their freezer for their one year anniversary? More photos of the un-named groom posing with his new wife and cake are at CNN:[/emember_protected]  Read More →

Bride Sues Florist Over Wrong Flower Color

November 13, 2007

Elana Glatt, formerly Elana Elbogen, is sueing her wedding florist (she’s also an attorney) for $400,000 for “egregriously” failing to match the color scheme she had requested for her floral arrangements. The flowers cost $27,435.14. We can’t get over the fact that the lawsuit asks for more than $400,000 in restitution and damages. WOW! According to the New York Post article: Not only was the color wrong, Ms. Glatt said in the lawsuit, filed on Friday in State Supreme Court in Manhattan, but the hydrangeas were wilted and brown, and arranged in dusty vases without enough water. Their pastel colors clashed with the linens, favor boxes, wedding cake and décor at Cipriani 42nd Street, the luxurious restaurant where she and her husband, David Glatt, held their reception, Ms. Elana Glatt said. ‘The use of predominantly pastel centerpieces had a significant impact on the look of the room and was entirely inconsistent with the vision the plaintiffs had bargained for,’... See More Tour Details »

Women Want Men To Sit When Peeing!

March 22, 2007

German men are being shamed into urinating while sitting down by a gadget which is saving millions of women from cleaning up in the bathroom after them. About 1.8 million toilets are already haunted by Spuk, or Spook, as the little $10 device is called. Attached to the underside of the toilet seat, Spuk quietly endures sitting visitors. But anyone trying to lift the seat and attempt to stand and urinate (known as “Stehpinkeln“) should be prepared for the ghost’s unrelenting wrath. “Hey, stand-peeing is not allowed here and will be punished with fines, so if you don’t want any trouble, you’d best sit down,” one of the devices orders in a voice impersonating the German leader, Chancellor Gerhard Schroder. Another has a voice similar to that of his predecessor, Helmut Kohl. “Excuse me, but there’s a penalty for peeing while standing in this house,” it warns culprits. “You’d better not risk any problems and sit down!” Other... See More Tour Details »

The Entitlement Queen Visits Burger King

March 8, 2007

Every now and then we like to spotlight some of our incoming email. We received this enlightening email from maybe a man (could be a woman?) in Florida named “HappilyMarriedinFL”. Mr H writes: “You guys are so delusional, it’s not even funny. Did you ever think for one moment that maybe you’re all so jaded and cynical….that maybe THAT’S the reason you’re alone. To stereotype all women in one category just shows why feminism still exists. Unfortunately, it’s because sexist guys like you give the rest of us a bad rap. While you’re feeling all angry and bitter, I’ll be getting busy with my beautiful and s**y wife who is also the mother of my 4 awesome kids. Enjoy YOUR night! Ciao!” I rather enjoyed receiving this email. I found it hard to believe that it may be written by one of my brothers on Earth. If it truly was written by a brother, why would he be visiting dumpyourwifenow.com, if he’s so happy? If... See More Tour Details »

The Key To Understanding Modern American Women

March 2, 2007

The key to understanding modern American women is to realize that, starting from a very early age, basically from about the time they start learning to talk, every event and experience in their lives takes on a very powerful emotional subtext. This is not to imply, of course, that men’s lives do not have emotional subtexts. It is merely to state that, for women, the emotional subtext of everyday events and experiences is often much more powerful than it is for men. For a woman, nearly everything that happens in her life, including things that most men would consider to be trivial or mundane, is heavily freighted with significant emotional meaning. There are many important consequences to this, but for men, there are certain key implications that are very important to understand. One of these is that women are always “right”. By the time they reach early adulthood, at about the age of 25 or so, women develop a very strong sense of moral rectitude. They are certain they know... See More Tour Details »
